About Us

Hydro power International (Pvt.) Ltd established in June 1999, is a member of HPI Group of Companies, with the intention of developing Hydro Power Projects in Developing Countries to supply electricity to the national grid of the country by deploying the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering strengths.

It is with our team effort, technical and managerial strengths, we have succeeded to be one of the leading hydro power construction companies in Sri Lanka within a short period of time.

Our unique feature is that we handle the entire project, from the identification of a potential site to the final commissioning. We have established our name "As The Company" which completed hydro power projects very successfully, within the budget, with minimum cost per installed MW capacity. This success is simply due to team effort and maximum usage of globalization.
