One year contract for Operations Engineer of small hydro plant in East African country
We seeks competent technical person to employ in hydro power plant in Burundi, East Africa, which was completed and commissioned by our company. The selected candidate will be given training before assuming duties. The required minimum qualifications are;
- B.Sc. Engineering Degree/ or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least one year experience in a factory or industrial automation related work.
- Sound knowledge on PLC control systems, computer controlled machinery
- Experience in hydraulic control of machinery ( preferred to have hydro power experience but not essential )
- Good English writing and speaking ability ( Knowledge in French is much prefered )
Food, lodging, transport, insurance will be provided, and work with Sri Lankan staff. Salary is negotiable and paid in US dollars or Sri Lankan rupees. Maximum take home pay is US$ 1500 depending on work experience and knowledge
